Sunday School Curriculum Guide for 2007-2008 School Year
Pre-K through 5th grade children will be following the Exploring Faith curriculum, which leads them through the stories of our faith in a fun and age-appropriate way.
Fall 2007 Focus: The House of David; stories include Ruth and Naomi, God Calls Samuel. Beginning a Nation; stories include Saul Becomes King, David the Shepherd, and David is Chosen King. In the Royal Palace; stories include David and Goliath, David and Jonathan and King Solomon.
Winter 2007-08 Focus: Advent and Christmas, Celebrations and the Parables of Jesus.
Spring 2008 Focus: Holy Week and Easter, Worship and the Holy City.
Our 6, 7 and 8th Graders will be following the Claim the Life Curriculum. As part of a six-year, comprehensive youth curriculum for Sunday school, Claim the Life lessons each revolve around a single key word (or phrase) from Scripture. These words are significant to more fully claiming life as a Christian. This semester begins with the Journey, an introduction to Christian living.
The High School Class will also be following the Claim the Life curriculum for senior high students. This semester begins with the Promise, which discusses God’s promises, Jesus’ promises and our promises.
Children's Choirs Trinity's children's
