The Stephen Ministry program is designed to train lay people to minister in a loving, caring, and confidential manner to those who are going through a difficult time. Each Stephen Minister receives 50 hours of training before being assigned to a care receiver, thereafter attends bi-monthly meetings to keep his skills honed, and makes a two-year commitment to participate in the program.
