About once a month, the Adult Ed program features a Feasting with the Saints event, a brainchild of Shannon and Cherie Shipp. Usually these two exceptional cooks present a program during the Adult Forum hour, during which they discuss the saints of the month, or more recently the saints related to a particular cuisine. (Be sure to attend the discussion, as samples of the foods are often provided!)

Preparation of the feast itself begins one or two days before the event, with the Shipps providing supervision and various others who enjoy being in a kitchen assisting. The meal takes place on a Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall. To whet your appetite, here are recipes from feasts past.
