July 24, 2010 - EfM Comes to Trinity in September

EfM (Education for Ministry), a four-year program of religious studies affiliated with the University of the South (Sewanee), will be offered to parishioners beginning in September.

In a small group setting (6 to 12 students), EfM provides a thorough background in the Bible (Old and New Testament), church history and theology while allowing participants to connect their faith with their own life experiences. The class will meet on Tuesday evenings at Trinity.

The group will be facilitated by two trained mentors, Karen Shepherd, one of Trinity’s 90’s group participants and Mother Judy Upham, a priest recently retired and relocated to Fort Worth.
