Seniors Group reschedules May luncheon

Good morning, Trinity and St. Alban friends. Our May outing to Riscky's Barbecue at the Stockyards has been rescheduled from next Thursday to next Wednesday, May 9th, at 11:30am. A group of 200 folks has taken over Riscky's on Thursday, so our group of 12-15 got "squeezed out." Our committee is hoping that your appointment schedules for next week will be able to accommodate the change of date.

When you travel to the Stockyards next Wednesday, I recommend that you plan to get there around 11:15. The cattle drive starts at 11:30, and it's impossible to drive on Exchange Avenue once the cattle drive gets going. Riscky's is at 140 E. Exchange Avenue. Assuming you are driving north on North Main Street, then you turn right on Exchange. You can access free parking by driving through, past the railroad tracks.

There is no need to RSVP, as Riscky's will be able to accommodate quite a large group on short notice. We do recommend carpooling, however; for carpooling, please arrive at the church parking lot at 10:45, and we'll have full cars leaving for the stockyards at 10:50.

There is one more outing planned for this spring - lunch at Gloria's Restaurant on Wednesday, June13th. After the Gloria's gathering, then we'll take a two-month break during the 100-degree days of July and August.
