Thanksgiving Baskets
It is time to join hands with the South Central Alliance of Churches to gather Thanksgiving
Baskets for the Families in the 76104, 76109 and 76110 zip codes. Our goal will be 200 baskets this year.
On November 1, sign up sheets and the grocery list will be available in the Parish Hall and Bell Tower.
We will accept sacks of groceries on November 8, 15, 22. Groceries will cost under $20 and we are asking you to
shop at stores that have paper bags with handles (Central Market, City Market). If you don’t have time to
shop for groceries, cash donations will be happily accepted and will go towards purchasing turkeys.
Click here to view the shopping list and download forms to be attached to your bags.
United Thank Offering (UTO)
UTO boxes and envelopes are now available. Please use this as an opportunity to give thanks for our many
blessings each day as you drop your change into your blue box. We will have the UTO
fall ingathering on November 15. We'll ask everyone to convert their box
of change into a check to bring in your blue envelope. Keep your blue
box for the spring ingathering. UTO contributions help provide grants
throughout the world to meet compelling human needs while expanding the
mission and ministry of the church.
Presbyterian Night Shelter
Please donate small toiletries (shampoo, toohpaste, etc.) by placing them in the appropriate basket in the atrium.
Open Doors for Women in Need
Open Doors for Women in Need will be collecting toilet paper and paper towels in the basket
marked "ODWIN Toilet Paper & Paper Towels" in the atrium. This will be a year-round
collection effort to help offset the costs of running the organization. These are simple items that we at Trinity can
provide to help others in need. If you have any questions or would like to become involved with ODWIN, please
contact Whitney Harwell at 817-924-7688.
