Enjoy the peace of a Quiet Day
Saturday, July 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Are you in need of a few hours of peace and quiet in the midst of a busy life? Would you like to spend a few hours in holy silence to feel God’s presence? In keeping with the spirit of RENEW (Rest, Educate, Nurture, Enjoy, Wonder), the Daughters of the King will host a Quiet Day on July 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Join us as we travel vicariously with Father Robert when he arrives in London on July 17th as he begins his UK Pilgrimage. We will visit Durham Cathedral and Norwich in England and St. David's in Wales. The men and women who lived centuries ago in these locations continue to enrich our faith, traditions and spiritual lives from "across the pond." We will have opportunities for Centering Prayer and silence during our morning together, led by Trinity’s very own Emily Williams. Emily has a degree in Spiritual Theology and Spiritual Direction from The Anglican School of Theology.
We invite all Trinity adults (all genders) to join us in exploring this form of contemplative prayer. Light refreshments will be served. ALL are welcome! Sign up here:
